GENDER REVEAL: We're Having A.....

Monday, 25 January 2016

Today's finally the day! I had my mid-pregnancy scan today to find out if the baby is developing properly and as it should at this stage, finding any possible defects that would be present at birth or pose a risk to the baby. During this scan, you are given the option to find out the gender of your baby. Some people choose not to find out, some people (like myself) REALLY want to find out what they're having. So today was the day we would finally get to know.

A'Pieu Haul ♡

Monday, 18 January 2016

Hey lovelies, time for another beauty related post! Today's post is simply a haul post of some products I recently purchased from a brand I have yet to try. I had mentioned in this post at the end of last year that there were a selection of Korean beauty brands that I hadn't tried that I wanted to. I gave myself the aim of trying all four out at somepoint this year. I decided to give the brand A'pieu a try first due to their cute packaging and very affordable products.

As I was just sampling the brand everything I purchased in this post costs less than £4.50. Based on my experience with these products I may try some other products by the brand at a later point. I've also purchased a mixture of make up and skincare products to get an idea of the quality of products in both areas as both are important!

This was one of the products I featured in my collage of items that I wanted to try from this brand. What intrigued me was the fact that it's a cushion blusher. I also haven't had a coral blusher (if I've had coral cheeks it's just been down to using a lipstick as a blusher) so this was going to be a valuble addition to my collection. This is the product I'm the most excited about trying and there's a small, but nice range of colours to choose from as well!

The Red Tint | Apple ♡

I love love love lip tints and Korea definitely has some of the best ones. I've used tints from a range of brands so I was looking to try one from A'Pieu. What's interesting about this one is that it is double ended and comes with a gloss to go over it. I'm not generally a fan of lip gloss so I may wear the tint just on it's own but I will definitely give it a good try! It's a gorgeous bright, ever so slightly pink red.

If you can't tell from my blog I love pastel colours and I purchased this to go with a few other nail colours that I have already as I imagined a few cute looks in my head. This is a clear polish with bits of silver glitter along with baby pink and lilac hearts throughout it. They have a few glitters like this with different colours strewn through it. I thought this would be good for a Valentine's nail look so I will give it a go for then and showcase the look to you guys!

Cushion Tok Concealer | Light Beige ♡

If you can't tell, cushion make up is quite a big thing in Korea just now, starting off with the cushion foundations. A cushion concealer again seemed like an interesting idea and because this is quite a small product it seems like it will be quite precise as well. I purchased this in light biege as I'm generally light biege or the lightest available colour in most of Korea's brands. I'm excited to see what coverage and such this gives!

Hidden Solution Egg White Nose Patch ♡

I get bad blackheads and such on my nose quite regularly and I've yet to find a range of nose strips that actually work effectively for me. I amazingly got 10 of these for what would possibly get you maybe one or three at a push from other brands. Seeing as my nose needs done quite soon, this will probably be the first item reviewed from this haul.

Nonco Tea Tree Spot Patch ♡

When I made my purchase a few weeks ago for all these products I had a really bad outbreak (most likely due to me being ill over the last few weeks of the year) so I purchased these to help. Fortunately (unfortunately??) my skin has cleared  up quite well so I don't need them right at the moment but believe me when I do I will be making some good use out of these. These are small clear circle patches that you apply to a spot and you leave it on overnight and it's supposed to reduce the spot side and redness. I'm excited to try these and see how well they work! I got three packets of these for a very affordable price so if they work I will be stocking up!

Have you tried any of the products mentioned in this post? If so, what did you think of them? Would you like to give this brand a try or have you already given them a go? Share your opinion with me!
